OVERSEAS SECURITY
AWARENESS (OSA) COURSE
The Overseas Security
Awareness(OSA) course is designed for individuals and
families that travel frequently overseas.
Detecting and recognizing pre-threat indicators to a potential
criminal attack is often the earliest and most relaible indicator
of an impending robbery, car-jacking, or express kidnapping and can
be the first step to the interruption of an attack. This course is
designed to increase your knowledge of criminal attacks that can
lead to greater security through awareness.
HRSS prides itself in working
with each and every client to design a training program
specifically based on their security needs. The (OSA) program is
highly customized and can be tailored to a client's
specifications.

Content:
UNDERSTANDING CRIMINAL PROFILING:
Understanding what criminals look for. Having the right survival
mindset.
THREAT
ASSESSMENTS: How to conduct an analysis of threats,
culture, and other vital information on a specific
country.
ATTACK
RECOGNITION: Recognizing pre-threat indicators (tell-tale
signs) to a potential abduction.
CONDUCTING VEHICULAR ROUTE SURVEYS: How to
properly select and choose safe vehicular driving routes if driving
while operating or living overseas.
USING
ATM's & TAXI'S SAFELY: Using public transportation or
money machines safely while overseas so that you don't become an
express kidnapping victim
STREET
AWARENESS: How to make yourself a harder target while on
the street.
HOSTAGE
SURVIVAL: Survival strategies if you become a hostage. How
to conduct yourself while in captivity.
CONTINGENCY PLANNING: Developing a
pre-deployment or in-country emergency
plans.
